About DOCman Thumbs

Joomla plugin to generate thumbnails for documents in DOCman.

Once installed and configured, there's nothing you need to do. Whenever browsing the DOCman frontend, thumbnails will be added to the documents, wherever possible.

Always download from the official site, so you know the files haven't been tampered with.

Installation

Use Joomla's plugin installer. Don't forget to publish this plugin.

If a document has no thumbnail selected, Thumbs will automatically generate one.

Upgrading from 1.5.x

Simply install the new version on the top of the old one, using Joomla's extension installer.

Formats

Thumbs can generate thumbnails for over a hundred formats, depending on the libraries installed on your system. eg PDF's require you to have Imagick and Ghostscript. Please see http://imagemagick.org/script/formats.php
