How to install translation files?

Make sure you have the Joomla! language you need installed and activated. DOCman will use the same language as your default Joomla! language.

To install the DOCman language:

  • Extract the language archive
  • Use FTP to upload the files to these folders: '/administrator/components/com_docman/language/' and '/components/com_docman/themes/default/language/'

If for some reason you can't use FTP, you can use the filemanager in your CPanel or Plesk application, or install a file manager in Joomla such as JoomlaXplorer
